I completed my Master’s degree in 2003, after which life took me into the responsibilities of family and work. For many years, academics took a back seat. Then, in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to restart my studies and continue the learning journey I had left behind.
It has been a truly meaningful and fulfilling experience. I am incredibly grateful to ACT for providing me with such a supportive platform to learn, grow, and pursue my academic goals after such a long gap.
The staff have always been very cooperative, approachable, and encouraging. I am especially grateful to my guide, who has been extremely supportive and motivating throughout my journey. Mr. Avishek's guidance and encouragement gave me the confidence to keep going, even when balancing studies with other responsibilities was challenging.
Looking back, I feel proud that I took the decision to begin again. This journey has taught me that it is never too late to learn, grow, and pursue your dreams. I will always be grateful to ACT and everyone who has supported me along the way.

My experience with the Professional Doctorate has been a meaningful and challenging journey, both academically and professionally. The programme gave me the opportunity to explore an area that is closely connected to my work as an educator and to reflect more deeply on my own practice. I am particularly grateful for the support and encouragement I received from my course coordinator and supervisor Ms.Kuhu Basu, throughout the research process. Her guidance, responsiveness, and reassurance helped me navigate the challenges of completing doctoral research while continuing to work as a full-time educator. The feedback I received throughout the process helped me develop greater confidence as a researcher and strengthened my ability to think critically about my own practice.
Completing the defense today was a significant milestone for me, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have undertaken this journey. The experience has strengthened not only my research skills but also my understanding of reflective practice, educational leadership, and the importance of continuing to learn as an educator.
Overall, I am very thankful for the experience and for the people who supported me throughout the journey. It has been challenging, rewarding, and personally meaningful.
