My experience with the course on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has been very enriching and meaningful. The course helped me gain a deeper understanding of how children with autism think, feel, and respond to their environment. I especially appreciated learning about sensory processing differences, communication challenges, behavior management, and the importance of structure and routine. The practical strategies shared during the sessions were very helpful. They increased my confidence in supporting children in the classroom. I now feel more patient, empathetic, and better prepared to handle different behaviors, including hyperactive, hypoactive, and self-stimulatory behaviors (stimming). Overall, this course has enhanced both my knowledge and professional skills. It has changed my perspective, helping me focus more on strengths rather than difficulties, and encouraged me to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
